01. About these terms

These terms apply to the Pulsewith service operated by Çagdas Can, established in Finland, at Sarvastonkaari 3 H34 00840 Helsinki Finland. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Pulsewith supports relationship reflection through shared check-ins and related features. It is not a medical, mental-health, counseling, or emergency service and does not promise a particular relationship outcome. If you need urgent assistance, contact the appropriate local emergency or professional service.

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. App Store transactions and the license to the iOS app are also subject to applicable Apple terms, including Apple's standard app license unless a custom license is provided through the App Store.

02. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into these terms under the laws that apply to you.

The app may begin with an account identifier that is not linked to a sign-in method. Available Apple or email account-protection options help you retain access. You are responsible for keeping your device, sign-in method, and invitation links secure and for providing information you have the right to use.

Uninstalling the app, losing a device, or losing access to a sign-in method may prevent you from recovering an unprotected account. Private-note encryption keys are separate from account sign-in: recovering an account does not guarantee that earlier encrypted notes can be recovered.

Contact support@pulsewith.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

03. Partner sharing and content

Connect only with someone who agrees to participate. A person with a valid invitation may be able to join the intended couple connection, so share invitations only with your intended partner.

You retain ownership of the content you provide. You give us the limited permission necessary to store, process, transmit, and display that content to operate the features you use, subject to the protections described in our Privacy policy. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Your connected partner can view information you share with them. We cannot prevent a recipient from making screenshots or other copies, and deleting your account does not remove copies they independently hold. Do not provide another person's private information without the necessary permission.

The Pulsewith app, branding, and other service materials remain the property of their respective owners. Your permission to use the service does not include permission to resell it or misrepresent yourself as its operator.

04. Subscriptions and trials

Purchasing a plan

Paid plans are purchased through Apple in the iOS app. The available plans, price, currency, billing period, included access, and any introductory offer are shown before you confirm a purchase. The App Store purchase confirmation governs the amount and offer for that transaction. Availability and offers may vary by storefront and eligibility.

RevenueCat helps us recognize purchases and provide subscription access. Changing your connected partner or account does not by itself transfer ownership of an Apple subscription.

Trials and renewal

If Apple offers an eligible free or discounted trial, the confirmation screen specifies its duration and the price that follows. An auto-renewing subscription continues, and an eligible trial converts to its paid period, unless you cancel in accordance with Apple's cancellation requirements. Apple handles billing and any required notices or consent for price changes.

You do not need to wait for a reminder from Pulsewith to cancel. Use the renewal or trial end date shown in your Apple subscription settings and follow Apple's current cancellation instructions.

Cancellation, refunds, and restore

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple subscription settings. Removing the app, deleting your Pulsewith account, or disconnecting from a partner does not cancel the subscription. Access after cancellation depends on your App Store subscription status and applicable Apple terms.

For App Store refund requests, use Apple's refund request service. Apple assesses requests under its policies and applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

Use Restore purchases with the Apple account that made the purchase when that option is available in the app. Restoration is subject to the store record and account state; contact support if a recognized purchase does not provide the expected access.

05. Acceptable use

Do not use Pulsewith to harass, threaten, exploit, or unlawfully monitor another person. Do not share unlawful content, impersonate others, access accounts without permission, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or use the service in ways that infringe another person's rights.

We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect people, maintain the service, or comply with law. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the action and provide a way to contact us about it.

06. Availability and responsibility

The service may be interrupted by maintenance, technical failures, network conditions, or third-party services. Notifications, synchronization, and delivery times are not guaranteed. Do not rely on Pulsewith for urgent or safety-critical communication.

We may improve or change features. Material changes affecting a paid service will be handled in accordance with applicable notice, cancellation, and consumer-rights requirements. We will exercise reasonable care in providing the service.

Each party remains responsible as required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or removes rights and remedies you have under mandatory consumer law.

07. Ending your use

You can stop using Pulsewith at any time and request account deletion in Settings. Contact privacy@pulsewith.com if you cannot access that option. Our Privacy policy explains the deletion process, partner records, and retention limits.

Ending a connection or deleting an account can end the shared experience and access to associated data. Your partner's own account and records are separate. Cancel any unwanted App Store subscription separately to prevent future renewal.

If we must suspend or discontinue the service, we will provide notice where reasonably possible and required by law, and respect any applicable refund or other consumer rights.

08. Rights and disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not take away mandatory protections under the law that would otherwise apply to you, including applicable protections in the country where you habitually live. Nothing in these terms restricts your right to bring a claim in any court available to you under applicable law.

Contact legal@pulsewith.com with a concern so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us does not prevent you from using remedies, courts, regulators, or dispute-resolution rights available under applicable law.

09. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. We will update the effective date and provide any notice or obtain any acceptance required by applicable law. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the service and cancel future subscription renewals through Apple, without losing mandatory rights.
